Kanifing - Thursday, 08th January, 2026: The Gambia Financial Reporting Oversight Board (FROB) paid a courtesy visit to the National Audit Office (NAO) as part of efforts to consolidate the growing cordial relationship between the two institutions in the areas of financial oversight and regulation. During the engagement, the Chief Executive Officer of FROB held discussions with the Auditor-General and his team on matters of mutual interest, including strengthening audit quality, financial reporting, and corporate governance in the country. Both institutions reaffirmed their commitment to working collaboratively within the existing legal and regulatory frameworks to enhance the quality of financial reporting and auditing in the Public sector and the wider economy.
