The Gambia Financial Reporting Oversight Board (FROB) concluded a 3-day stakeholder engagement workshop aimed at newly designated public interest entities (PIE) under section 2 (e) of the FR Act 2013. The workshop's objective is to educate, inform, promote dialogue and facilitate direct interaction between PIE professionals and FROB executives.

Stakeholder Engagement FROB Radio Show Presentation
The Gambia Financial Reporting Oversight Board embarked on a public relations (PR) visibility campaign about the FROB’s mandate, vision, and core values. The campaign took the format of a radio talk show and highlights the need for FROB in the country as an effective oversight body over Public Interest Entities (PIEs), PIE Auditors and Gambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (GICA).
Stakeholder Engagement Meeting with Audit Firms
We are delighted to share the successful outcome of our recent stakeholder engagement meeting with the Public Interest Entity Auditors, hosted by the Gambia Financial Reporting Oversight Board (FROB) on December 28th, 2023. The meeting was a significant milestone in fostering collaboration, and underscores FROB’s commitment in fostering communication and setting expectations for review engagements between the FROB and the audit firms in the country.
